Community Partnerships
Rising Sun Energy Center, and especially the California Youth Energy Services program, works on a grassroots level all through the East and North Bay. If you are a member or leader of a:
- community group
- parent-teacher-association
- neighborhood association
- church or other faith group
- non-profit
- direct service organization
- youth group
- etc
Why partner with Rising Sun?
We know how easy it is to proceed with business as usual...but as we put off our responsibility to our planet and one another, we waste money and drain our natural resources. If you think your church, association, or organization "doesn't have anything to do" with green issues, remember that we all share this planet, both with each other and with future generations.
How should we work together?
Rising Sun wants to:
- Visit your group, meeting, or service
- Offer California Youth Energy Services free 'green house calls' to your members
- Present to or run workshops for your group - about our youth training, energy efficiency, workforce development, or neighborhood sustainability
- Throw an event with you to green the community
- Offer green jobs to the young people in your area
