REGIONAL OUTREACH MANAGER (Full Time)
The Regional Outreach Manager is responsible for the overall planning and implementation of a year-round, annual outreach campaign to sign renters and homeowners up for the no-cost Green House Call service offered through CYES, and to increase overall community visibility of the CYES program and Rising Sun Energy Center as a whole. We are looking for individuals with strong experience and proven success in designing and leading outreach, marketing, and canvassing campaigns, particularly in an environmental field. The Regional Outreach Manager spends approximately 75% of his or her time developing and maintaining strategic community partnerships, implementing outreach plans and tactics, and recruiting clients for the CYES program within the Southern Region, which in 2014 included; Dublin, Pleasanton, Fremont, Union City, and Hayward.
ENERGY SPECIALIST (Stockton)
We are currently accepting applications for the position of Energy Specialist in Stockton. Energy Specialists receive extensive training in job skills; no prior experience with energy conservation work is necessary but you must be a resident of Stockton to apply. Energy Specialists visit houses in their community (by scheduled appointment) and help residents save energy by (1) doing a comprehensive energy audit of the home (2) replacing incandescent light bulbs for energy efficient CFLs (Compact Fluorescent Lights), installing clotheslines, mounting efficient flow showerheads, etc. (3) providing recommendations on how to save energy.
INSTRUCTOR and JOB PLACEMENT SPECIALIST (full time)

The Instructor and Job Placement Specialist manages a diverse range of responsibilities that are essential to the program’s success. Under the supervision of the Director of Adult Programs, the Instructor and Job Placement Specialist is responsible for training instruction (including planning, preparation and classroom management); job placement; employer outreach and networking; and program administration.
GETS JOB DEVELOPER (part time)

The Job Developer interviews and assists with with screening of applicants to the GETS program; helps plan and teach workshops; counsels GETS training participants on employment goals; reaches out to employers to identify job openings; refers qualified GETS graduates to available job openings; assists GETS graduates with job applications and preparation for interviews; assists graduates in researching and applying to union apprenticeships; partners with Case Manager to host monthly evening alumni meetings; assists with employer outreach and networking, and assists with the administration of job placement efforts.
