Do you have a tall halogen floor lamp in your home? These lamps not only consume large amounts of electricity, they are also dangerous: they can overheat and start fires.

In exchange for your old lamp, Rising Sun will give you a new fluorescent version, of the same light quality and brightness, for FREE! Our lamps are new in the box. They have a full dimmer, a frosted glass bowl, and come in either black or white.

If you'd like to start saving right away, feel free to bring your lamp(s) into our Berkeley office during business hours, Monday through Friday, for an immediate swap. Please note: To qualify for this program, your old lamp must have a 300 watt or greater halogen bulb. You must be a resident of Marin, Alameda, or Contra Costa counties and a PG&E customer. Any residence may swap any number of torchiere lamps, but only once - if you have swapped before you may not swap again.
